So the 'Advanced' Sell Your Item Form has mutated once again and the old guide is no longer valid as the screen-shots are obsolete.
So here's an update: Quick Sell SYI Form
**Note - this SYI form does not give you the full range of postage options**
In Section 5 'Set a price and P&P details' click the '+ Add other postage destinations or services' hyperlink:
Then change Postal destination 2 to 'European Union' and destination 3 to 'Worldwide' and input the relevant postal services and costs:
Then when the SYI form is completed, click the 'Save and preview' button at the bottom of the form.
Advanced Sell SYI Form
Firstly, if you haven't already done so, click the 'Add or remove options' link in the 'Give buyers P&P details' section of the SYI form:
In the options, tick the 'Show international services and options' in the 'International Postage section:
and make sure you click the save button to save the changes.
Then, in the International Postage Section, click the drop down arrow and change from 'No international delivery' to 'Flat: same cost to all buyers'
Then click the drop-down arrow in the 'Additional postal locations - buyers contact for costs' sub-section and change from
'Will dispatch to United Kingdom and the following' to 'Will dispatch Worldwide'
Then click the 'Offer additional service' hyperlink to add either one or two more international postage services.
Then enter your postage services and costs. Assuming you are using ordinary airmail, click 'Choose custom location' in the first field and then tick all the European options, and then in the second field, select 'Worldwide' and put the relevant prices in the price boxes:
Complete the rest of the listing and make sure you check the fees before pressing the 'List your item' button at the end.
Turbo Lister 2
Basically it's the same process.
Click the 'Postage Options' button in the Postage Options field.
In the next page, click the 'International Tab' and repeat the instructions as above:
Hiya Dime - I dug the URL for this out of the PLUMP thread yesterday for a newbie - I couldn't find this thread anywhere - thought they'd all been ditched actually - leaving it all to the PLUMP instead.
I went back quite a few pages looking for these. I tend to go for the individual threads rather than open the PLUMP to look for them.
But it has been very quiet in here of late so I suppose they just slipped away.
Thanks, that was interesting. The problem though, that I've just found out I have, is that although I've been completing UK, Europe & Worldwide shipping options for each ad, they don't display to the buyer. They pull through ok for invoice purposes, and during my selling template, but they seem to be disabled as far as the actual ad goes. Any ideas, I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Cheers, Andy
Hi Andy - your problem may get missed at the end of this thread as is used for information and just occasionally bumped up, so regulars don't read it. Maybe start a thread of your own and explain the problem a bit more. Had a quick look at a couple of items and they show worldwide OK but visibility depends on the search used by the person looking.
I totally agree thank you so much, I guess I should just get started, it's very time consuming as well as addictive...DH is already cheesed off with all the buying I've done, I'm now going to start emptying the house!!LOL Sorry didn't mean to steal the thread but it was related!
that was helpfull the item is due to expire in a hour, i was messaged a question regarding the cost. so could i send a message back telling them the price to send to germany and then add it to invoice when they have purchased
