It has become quite common for listings to take many hours to appear in general searches - eBay states at the end of each listing to be submitted that they do not guarantee a time when your listing will go live.
For items with designer names, for example, it can take up to 24 hours, sometimes longer.
Here are some things you can do to help the process.
(1) Use the Scheduled Feature for items with 'designer names' - list your item as normal but don't use the choice to start it immediately - a couple of days forward should guarantee your listing goes live as soon as it is submitted.
You need a credit card on file for this, it costs a small fee but the end result will be more exposure for your item.
(2) Overuse of celebrity names (keyword spamming) will also delay your item going live and may result in it being removed, if reported, shortly after going live.
So avoid that.
Don't put details of your other items for sale in each listing. If you put lots of names, brand names, maker's names, this is also keyword spamming and bring up incorrect searches for people looking for one particular brand or maker when they use the Title and Description choice.
It is a reportable offence and your items (all of them) could be removed by eBay as a result.
(3) Don't describe your item as 'As New' if it is not actually new. It is either new or it is not. eBay does not allow you to use 'As New' in the title but it may be best not to use it anywhere in the listing, just to be safe. It is also considered keyword spamming. Again people looking for New items only will get an incorrect search result.
The same goes for using terms such as 'Like Nike' 'Like Adidas' 'Louis Vuitton style'. This is not permitted. It may also be that the item is a fake when you use those terms. You are not permitted to list fakes. See below.
(4) Do not list counterfeit items of any kind. You could find yourself in trouble with the law as well as with your buyer.
If you're not sure the item is authentic, don't list it, even if you bought it on eBay. Two wrongs don't make a right.
(5) eBay does not permit the use of certain 'naughty' words. Bear in mind these are words which Europeans may not find offensive but are considered offensive in the US where the rules have been set. Sometimes the words are not passed by the search engines and the items never go live, even though you can see them in your own list of items for sale.
This can happen particularly with song titles or lyrics so check your music listings and remove any suspect words from your song list.
If you find that a group of letters from the end of one word and the beginning of another form a 'naughty word', just change them and things should be fine.
(6) If none of the above works, please come and ask the helpers. They can see submitted listings in Text Only Format and may be able to tell you what is delaying your item.
Happy Selling!!

See the response to the first time you posted this at post 22. Please don't repeat posts after 4 minutes (particularly when your question has already been answered), this is a forum of helpers who are Ebayers, not customer services to keep yelling at.
Your listing contains a swear word in the second line "abit of a ..." and won't appear until you remove it. -----------------------------

Thanks Lola, But we only have a small number of products and we have had them listed for over a year. I think this last lot were re listed about a week ago, so they ahould be appearing by now....Its a conspiracy.....This problem has been going on for ages, its only now the more in depth I look, the bigger the problem I have had 1 response from e bay 2 weeks ago admitting there was a problem , But ive heard nothing since, its not ME ...honest!
I think that what is happening is that some are being hidden from the search because of the duplicates listing policy.
You are only allowed to have one BIN listing per item and any more will be hidden for the search. If 2 BIN items have the same title and price, one will be hidden. If the items are actually different, eg a different size or wood, then you should indicate the difference in the title. That way the titles will be different and both items will show.
Yes, although your titles vary for some of the picnic benches, they are the same product - eBay will only show 1 of them if they are being sold on BIN.
You can have up to 15 (I think) if they are auction listings.
15 total and one of the 15 may be a fixed price listing. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging. If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.
The three listings are in text-only format, waiting to be picked up by the search engine. With the current free listing promotion, there are a lot more listings being posted... so delays will be inevitable
