Hello there, As the old saying goes prevention is better than cure, if you follow the below steps it will greatly reduce the chances of Turbo Lister breaking down. Turbo Lister requires certain Windows components to be up to date and it needs regular maintenance if it is to work properly. •Check for updates regularly - at least once a week. (File-Check for Program Updates) •Back up your database regularly. Every single time you create new listings it is recommended. It could be the only way to retrieve your data in the event of a database corruption. •Regularly Compact your database to free up space and keep things running smoothly (Tools-Compact Database). •Keep Windows up-to-date. The links in the next box are for some Windows components updates direct from the Microsoft website. •Keep Internet Explorer Version 6.0 on your computer. Even if you use Firefox, IE7.0 or another browser for normal internet use, TL and eBay require Internet Explorer 6.0 for some actions. Useful downloads: Turbo Lister is based on the Microsoft Access Database, therefore it needs some system components which are delivered by Microsoft and are part of MS Office 2000: MDAC 2.8 (Microsoft Data Access Components) and JET ( Microsoft Jet 4.0 Database Engine ). They may be too old or corrupted - try to update to the last versions (currently MDAC 2.8 and JET4 SP8). In most cases this will also repair corrupt files. Don´t use the MDAC and Jet Links if you run Windows XP SP2. MSXML Service Pack 5 is delivered with SP2 for WindowsXP - for other operating systems a separate download is required.
